3 years ago we went to Disneyland with one of my sister and her family. It was our first time and, although the kids were small (3 and 5) we all loved it! It was magical and we made some amazing memories that year.
Of course, we took loads of photos and when we came back we made sure to print loads of them. The kids picked their own photos and they wanted to display them in their room. I wanted something simple and that would allow us to change the photos as often as we wanted. A simple garland with some colorful beads was the perfect solution.
You only need some string and some beads. Cut the string to your desired length. Make a knot close to the end. Insert a bead until it is secured over the knot, this will keep the bead in place. You may need to make a double knot depending on the width of your string and on the width of the beads. The idea is that the beads don’t move.
Once you have fed as many beads as you want, secure it to the wall with some washi-tape and hang your photos with tiny pegs.
If you are looking to display more memories than just photos (like cinema stubs, kids drawings…) you could just not secure the beads with knots so you can adjust the width as needed.
Simple and pretty, don’t you think?
